First of all we salute the men and women past and present that has and is serving our country. My Family and i got together today here Kiln Ms. We or basically all Musicians. What a great time when we gather to celebrate together. We set the stage and all the music equipment and then hoe down. Approx 7 of us playing great country and Gospel tunes. Bob Saxton was sitting on my right playing his RC Allen guitar and my son Jason on my left playing his bass guitar. My son Joby on the Drums and my brother Butch playing rythum guitar on my new RC Allen. My two nephews were singing and a good friend dennis Beard from Houston playing piano and fiddle. Of course you know i was playing my Excel Superb 12 string universal steel. I played so much steel today it was fun. I recently had Herbie Stewart from mobile add me a couple new string pull changes and man they fit perfect for the blues i love to play. i have been playing public for approx 7 years now and i am enjoying it more every time i get a chance. i am throughly hooked on steel guitar. thanks to all that encouraged me to play steel.
Happy Memorial day;
