Anybody got any info/experience in regards to replacing the tuner strips on a Rick frypan? Thanks

I have several prewar frypans. They all have simple strip tuners, 3/side or 4/side. I don't think Rick used anything special during that era. I found some great exact replacements for one of mine on a totally worthless old accoustic guitar in an antique/junk store. I think I payed about $10. I threw the quitar away. I've seen some junkers like it on Ebay.
