I've recently become the proud owner of a Pro 1. Very exciting! The only real issue I've found thus far is with tuning the 3rd string raise. When I adjust the nylon tuner, the pitch is adjusted for the open string as well as the raise, at the same time. Therefore it is not actually possible to adjust the raise relative to the open string.
Any ideas?
Thanks,

Yuo may have to adjust the pedal stop under the guitar,to give you more travel . |

Yes; sounds like you don't have enough distance to the pedal stop; to get the half tone raise from the open(non actuated finger).
So back off the nylon tuning nut at endplate; to where the finger is not affected(not actuated)..and now tune the open note as desired pitch. Then push the pedal; and the nylon tuning nut should pretty much start pulling as you push the pedal. And if it doesn't raise to the desired "A" pitch; then you need more distance.
There is a stop screw underneath where the pedal rod pulls a crossbar for that string; and that is where you need to create more distance to that stop; so that crossbar will travel further; before it stops.
So back off that screw a turn or two; until the note goes up to pitch.....>then tighten back down the lock nut. Then fine tune with the nylon tuning nut.
Have fun.
