Stuart... How did you know that was my most favorite tune?
Seriously... the person that came up with that do re mi fa so la ti do should have been lynched as it has no relation to anything I have ever learned in music. What the hell is a do with a flat 5, raise 9? |

Jim Bob I think time lynched that old "fa so la" stuff.
My Grandfather used to read and sing shape notes (a triangle for "do" a square for "la" etc.) they referred to it as "fa so la" singing.
My Father Bo Legg sometimes sings old country songs in "fa so la". I told him he ought to do it on the stage, It's really funny. |
