Hi.
Thought I'd take a chance and see if anyone was interested in a trade.
I'm looking for a modern S10, SD10, S12 or U12.
Carter, GFI, Pedalmaster, etc

I have a practically new-condition Gretsch 6120DSW with all paperwork and original case. I will add pics soon.
It's just like this, but the pickguard says Nashille instead of Chet Atkins

The other guitar is a Fender 52 RI Telecaster in butterscotch blonde. This guitar has been played and shows a fair amount of wear. Most of the finish has been worn off the neck. Has been modded with a Gibson Mini Bucker in the neck and a Lindy Fralin Blues Special in the bridge. Pics to come soon.

I could also sweeten the deal for the right steel with a Goldtone Beard squareneck reso with hardcase or a Chandler lap steel modded with a tele pickup and a white tolex hardcase.

I would prefer a local deal but will ship if you are a forum member and agree to cancel the trade if either party is not satisfied, minus the cost of shipping.

Wow! I didn't think there would be this much interest!
I have a couple interesting offers to mull over, but if they don't work out I will bump this back up.

Jack-
As far as I know, pretty much all Gretsch guitars outside of the custom shop are made in Japan since Fred Gretsch bought the company back. My DSW is a 2004, so it was made after Fender took over production.

Joseph
I might trade my new December 96 Carter S-10 3-5 with 1/2 pad for your Gretch if its as nice as it looks in the pics.
You pay shipping both ways.

Here is a picture of my black beauty

Let me know. I have some local nibbels on it.

Hey David,
That sounds interesting.
I think I have a deal going on a trade for a Derby but if that falls through I'll keep it in mind.
Thanks!
Joe

I promise you you will not find a steel in nicer shape than mine.

All my equipment is pristeen and kept free of dust.

This Carter come with a black leather not vinyl cover and a rolling case.

The pedal bar has been covered with a plastics rock or scratch shield like they put on trucks to prevent rock chips.

This is the nicest steel out there other than calling John at Carter and Buying a brand new one.

Good luck with the Derby and Thanks again for the quick reply.
