For all intents and purposes, a lap-style Les Paul.

Really nice guitar! Great sound, great look, two pickups - cool!

Why the adjustable bridge, though? That's the only part of it that I don't understand.

Beautiful tone. The camera operator should have spent more lens time on the guitar, instead of the player's face.

Probably just to stay as close to the classic Les Paul design as possible, it wouldn't have been the same with a more standard lap steel bridge.

Beautiful guitar!!

The only thing I do not like about this demo is the dramatic change in guitar sound while he is playing. The sound of the guitar with the open mic while he is talking is totally different than when he is playing. Makes it hard to tell exactly what the guitar sounds like.

$1400 gets you one. CORRECTION!!! $2800 gets you one. $1400 is the deposit you can put down on it.

I thought the Ben Harpers went for double that. Is this one of the imports like the Jr he is bringing in?

In any event, nice guitar for sure.
It seems the construction approach is to build a "normal" guitar that you play on your lap.
An approach like this will appeal to many "normal" guitar players wanting to move to a slider.
More players and more steel is a good thing Smile
