I had the opportunity to meet Jon at in St. Louis when he was playing with Nico Case a few years back. What a great guy, and one of my favorite players. I even got me an MSA just like him Very Happy

There's a nice (albeit short) article on Jon Rauhouse in Guitar Player this month too. If you haven't checked out Jon's solo records, they are really cool. He uses a lot of the cool musicians from the cool bands that he's played in (Neko, Kelley Hogan, Calexico etc...). I had the good fortune of catching his solo show here recently. Real nice night of music - cool band and cool songs. What more could you want?

Jon Rauhouse (along with Joe Goldmark) have received some good press in this month's Vintage Guitar magazine as well.

"Steel Guitar Hear Attack" is definitely something different...

Hey Stu, nice of you to ask - I don't have plans as of right now. Still, I'm due. You can bet I'll let you know when I do...

I have had the honor of playing and touring with Jon a few years back. Great tone, taste, and touch. A very funny character as well! We are playing together at the Ryman in June and I can't wait!!!
