Ive noticed that when i run my sho-bud from my volume pedal into my delay directly into an amp I get a scratchy breakup kinda sound. I end up having to use the effects loop.Im looking to get a twin that has no effects loop. is there a way around this problem?

This sounds like a volume pedal problem. What kind of volume pedal do you have. Generally people prefer delay and reverb after the VP. Fuzz and distortion pedals may work better before the VP, although some people prefer them after the VP too.

Dave, Im going straight from my sho-bud to a goodrich volume pedal with a dunlop pot to my amp. nothing else. That sounds fine. Any effects and it creates an unberable sound.
