This is by far the finest Pedal Steel that I ever owned. It is an early 70's round front Sho Bud D 10 with a full mechanical rebuild by Duane Marrs. It has been refinished by AJ Nelson in a beautiful honey amber lacquer. The maple is highly figured with flames and birdseyes. There are a few bar dents between the necks and a small crack in the cabinet behind the C6 changer; besides that it is perfect. George L pickups. 8 pedals, 7 knee levers. Classic Emmons set up on the E9 neck and pedal 4 drops the B's to A. Comes with extra rods to make it a full Franklin pedal if you wish. C6 set up is classic C6. I get a ton of compliments on the tone and looks of this guitar! Comes with a hard case built by Marrs for the guitar. This is signed on the undercarriage by Jeff Surrat and Lloyd Green (who was in the shop the day the guitar was finished).
Unfortunately our digital camera is at the Canon repair facility but should be back early next week so I will take all requested photos at that time.
The reason why I am selling is that I want to go to a single neck guitar as this is way too much guitar for my abilities (I am a fair E9 player at best).
$2400 shipped to the CONUS

I have had a couple questions about Duanne Marrs. Duane Marrs and Jeff Surrat are two of the most experienced Sho Bud guys on the planet in my opinion. They own Duane Marrs Music / Show Pro Pedal Steels.
Go here for more of what they do:
http://www.duanemarrs.com
Also as I am on the hunt for the right S-10 Steel when this sells, I would consider a Sho Bud Pro I or another quality S-10 in trade (partial or full depending on guitar). Mostly interested in Laquer/Maple, not so much in Mica unless it is a black Emmons!
Thanks!

Wowee Zowee! Grant you sure have my attention. I look forward to pictures of the underside when you get your camera up and running. For some reason I don't think that your beautiful Sho~Bud will last that last that long, though. Would you consider a SD-10 ZB as a partial trade? Wait a minute, I'm not sure that I can part with the ZB. I guess I was just swept away by the beauty of your steel. I'd better check under the couch cushions, yet again, for the full amount while waiting for the pictures.
Great looking steel and best of luck on the sale.

Dude, you are crazy! I know you're gigging a ton and if it's too heavy order cases from Kevin Hatton. You'll kick yourself later for selling this peice of art, or find an early LDG... Joe

Aww maaaaan! I know you're hating selling that beaut!! At least you know you're going to get a real goody on the other side of the deal. I know I carry my 6139 to the gig the most but I think my professional is my favorite still. Well, you're welcome to it any time you're back in Seattle anyway!

Fellows:
The response to this guitar has been overwhelming. There are many good offers with two that have really caught my interest.
I'll get back to you all soon.

I think I know where this one is headed. To the gentleman who possibly bought it, take good care of it my friend and if you ever decide to sell it keep me in mind. That is one sweet Bud.

If you missed buying ‘The Professional’, unless there is an identical one in existance, I saw that guitar in the showroom just yesterday at ‘Steel Guitar Nashville’! Could be wrong, but; I don't think so, so go take a look, if you're still interested! It's really a nice looking guitar!

Different guitar John. Look at the decals, pedals, changers, end plates, body and fretboards.
It is a beauty though! Cool

It was sold to a private party, not Steel Guitar Nashville, though they are very nice folks! Please close this thread. Donation forthcoming.
