Bill Lawrence L-705 Pickup Wiring

The L-705 has four wires coming out of the pickup. What is the correct wiring configuration?

Both of these links will answer your question. Many of the 705's had 4 wires to enable one or both blades to be used via a toggle switch. In order to have both blades continually hot you will have to wire both blades in sequence and then the leads to the input jack. I have had a few 705's just like yours.
