Hi guys .. tonight I was presented with an old Vega Lapsteel in cast aluminium . I think it is called a frypan lapsteel . will post some photos tomorrow.. the steel is from the 50's I have been told .. in original case and working ... although the paintwork is well worn and the felt on the back is missing . I played it in a gig tonight .. darn lovely sound on it ( could not resist plugging it in .
When I post the piccis I would appreciate any advice on how much it may be worth and whether it is worth restoring it to original condition .
Cheers
Phill

hello Brad .
yes it is the same model .. but not in as good condition .. I think it may be an older version .. there are packets of screws in the case dated 1963.. so I am gonna assume it was around that time .. having trouble getting photos up .. will work on it for tomorrow.
