About 7 or 8 years ago I had an old maverick's undercarriage completely revamped and replaced with a pull rod system and a better changer. I can't remember now who did the work, but I do know it was a really great guy in Indiana. Anyway - I'm tinkering with a new homemade steel and am looking for parts. Does anyone know where to get a simple changer like the one shown? Any ideas on some of the other parts would be nice too - like the pull rods and nylon adjustment screws, etc. Thanks!

George King has a Shobud S-10 project guitar for sale under "Instruments For Sale". You might find some goodies there, too.

Its actually a lower, and its really stable, but yeah - it sure looks like hell. Thats exactly why I need to get some more parts for this guitar, I'm making stuff out of junk lying around the shop!

Anyway - I sent John an email, hopefully he'll hook me up.
