Well, up here in Ma I dont get the opportunity to hear many steel players. Saturday night I went to see Dale Watson's band and I am still thrilled. If I am wrong about the steel player please correct me, whoever is playing with him was just FANTASTIC. I rarely post here but I am still smiling! Such a tasteful player, It makes me want to move to Austin. Dale Watson is doing us all a favor by playing the music he does. Thats my rant, and I am sticking to it

"Don-Don" we call him, and we always enjoy his steel playing. When was the last time you enjoyed a show that much? He was in Raleigh a week or so ago, and it was great as always. Dale and the whole band are fantastic...great show, vocals, musicians, arrangements. If anyone has not seen Dale Watson and the group, whatever he is calling them this week (The Lonestars? The Ameripolitan Band?), it is a pleasure to hear them.
