I've been considering building an 8-string lap steel. There are a few cheap 6-strings commercially available. And I've seen a few very nice hand built 6-strings, but not many 8-stringers. So I am curious where one can find hardware for building an 8-string instrument, adjustable bridges in particular (since individual tuners can accomodate any number of strings).
Any sources?
Thanks in advance _________________ Joe Buczek

I think Randy at Bluestem has plans available for 8 string laps, or at least instructions. Good luck. Jack I have a six string on order from him. |

There are a pair of 8 string Stringmaster pickups on ebay in the lap-steel section, also some tuner pans for the Professional series.
