I'm just sick about not being able to make to the HSGA convention in Hawai'i yet again this year. Just too many band (and home) committments. Arrrrrggghhhh!!!!

So, are there pics posted somewhere yet!? MP3 recordings of performances? YouTube videos?? Very Happy C'mon, HSG ohana -- those of us not fortunate enough to have been there want all juicy deets from those of you who were! Or, maybe y'all ain't back yet?

sigh...

Hey, don't look at me. I'm even on the Board Of Directors and I got no on-the-spot reporting from Waikiki.

I want some pix, mp3's, eye witness accounts too. Very Happy

There was a bunch of people with cameras and video yesterday at the Ala Wai Club House Ho'olaulea.

The backup musicians were:

Danny Kiaha - Ukulele
Dennis "Bla" Keohokalole
Tau Greig - Bass

The guy that stole the show was Mr. Otake from Japan.
Tremendous smoothness in his playing. I've heard him 2 years ago when he took some lessons from Bobby Ingano. He's really practiced hard and has come a long way in such a short period of time. No doubt, he'll be one of the best in the next 5 years.

One more day left(tomorrow)in the convention. Maybe pictures will be posted by someone soon. Very Happy
