Go to Ebay and look at the completed auctions. That will give you an idea of the price there.

The smart guys I rely on tell me reconing costs approx. $125-$140, plus shipping. If you get an old one for $50 (to recone) you're doing OK. Now looking good and sounding good are two different things. If you pay $100 to $125 for a used JBL and have to recone it in the next year or two, well that wasn't such a hot deal, now was it? ... If, on the other hand, you pay $75 to $125, the going rate, and the speaker sounds great for years to come, then you got a bargain...that's the thing we're all lookin' for, right?
I, for one, am looking for old, blown JBL's for $50...SEND 'EM MY WAY. (D130F and D130 15's.) The E130s sound great, but weigh 8 pounds more. Speaker pounds are like dog years,... that's a lot.... I don't go to the gym.... I play (and lug) an old MSA.
