I have a couple of new beautiful Desert Rose Guitars I brought back from the Dallas show. I took several orders for new guitars, but I have 2 new SD-10s and 1 that is a month old, that are looking for good homes. I reduced my price for the show and decided I would offer these guitars to forum members at my Dallas show price. These are great deals and really beautiful guitars. They are all solid wood tiger stripe maple necks and bodies with a lacquer finish. Please email with requests for pictures and prices.

Thanks

I just received a new trade in and it is a beauty! This is a Desert Rose with a blue maple tiger stripe body and an aluminum neck. It is about 10 months old. This guy purchased one of my new Desert Rose Delta Blues guitars so I took this guitar in on trade. It is in perfect condition! It looks and sounds great. I'm asking $1750.00 for this guitar. I'm having problems uploading pictures so please email me if you are interested. I'll keep working on it.

Thanks.

Chuck,

The Delta Blues looks like a great steel-as do all of your guitars. If I ever get in the market for a new steel, I'll sure look at that one. Very Happy

Thanks Russ....I have had quite a few players interested in and ordering the new Delta Blues model. It is a new model out this year and is specifically designed for those that play Blues and Rock. It is a standard S-10 model with 2 pickups and a 3-way switch which blends or separates the pickups. I have a picture of Dan Tyack's on my web page at www.desertroseguitars.com

Thanks to everyone else who has had nice things to say about my guitars. I appreciate the support.

Chuck, I am curious and instead of an email I'll ask here as others might like to know as well. Is your guitar a descentant of the Flynn? I ask because the fretboards look like it. I played on a Flynn back in the 90' I think in their room at the St Louis show. Dave Musgrave and I played about 30 minutes in the Flynn demo room and it was a terrific steel guitar.

Jerry - I did buy the Flynn and Rus-Ler guitar company from Fred Layman about 5 years ago. The first ten guitars I built I used the Flynn changer and other parts on the guitars. Since then I have totally redesigned the guitar, and it no longer has any Flynn or Rus-Ler design or parts. If a player requests the Rus-Ler floor pedals I can accommodate them. The fretboard is modeled after the Flynn and Rus-Ler, but I have made changes to it. Like all other guitar builders, my guitar has evolved as I have taken suggestions from steel players to improve the design, playability, and weight.
