This is one we just finished last night in the studio.
It's called "ALONE IN A CROWD", written & sung by Cathe St Jean.
The Remington Steelmaster is running into 2 FSKs, each miked and the 2 tracks are panned 50% left and 5% right.
This is the first chance I've had to record the new Taylor 710CE Acoustic. There are 2 tracks of the Taylor. Also some Hammond C3 Organ, Yamaha Piano, P Bass, Tama Drums, Roland V Drums, and Alesis "strings" . .
Here is the page with the song embedded, lyrics etc.
Here is the MP3 itself.

Very good job Rick! Everything sounded great to me. Who is the singer? This isn't another one of your effects is it?
I hope you used the glass bar!

Thanks Gary!
That's Cathe St Jean, a popular regional artist - who wrote the song and did the vocal.
And yes, I'm glad you mentioned it -
I used my Boyett's Lead Filled Glass Bar for this song!
It works great! [This message was edited by Rick Alexander on 29 May 2005 at 04:21 PM.] |

Ooo... so melancholy! The orchestration is great. Painted lots of different colors in my head, predominantly gray. I had to make sure it wasn't raining inside my apartment.
I like the rocking back and forth from F maj to B dim. |
