I recently sent my 20 year old NV400 amp chassis, reverb pan and harness to Mike Brown for the tone mod and a checkup. As he suggested, I sent it to his attention along with the tracking # on a Saturday via UPS--he said he would be watching for it--the two boxes I sent arrived by Wednesday and I rec'd a call the very next day telling me the amp had the tone mod installed, and everything else checked over and a new reverb pan was being sent--now that's a 24-hour turnaround! I found the workorder in the return box that had "Expedite" handwritten on it--no doubt it was Mike who had written this in. Talk about a packing job and the icing on the cake was the final charges which were VERY reasonable! The amp sounds fantastic and is better than new (I bought it new in '89). Many thanks Mike to you and the Peavey staff for the "old fashioned" customer service! Carl |

Carl, Mike did the same thing for me when I sent in my Session 2000. Not only that, but he asked me if it would be o.k. if he took it home so he could program some more favorites and test it. It was a week-end turn-around. Great guy to have on your side. |
