What a great song. I play this on the steel shows that I am fortunate enough to be able to play.
I really think I play it well, BUT, after digging out this cut of Robbie, I better start practicing.
Oh yes, I just changed it to a "public" video, however, sometimes it takes YouTube a couple of hours to process,
Enjoy,
Bill

Bill,
I agree 100%. This time, you can say that the song was really played. Thanks again for giving us the chance to hear all these great songs, and pickers.

Bill: What a grand job you do of locating all these fine steel Guitarists and then sharing their talents with us; had never heard Robbie before now; an excellent guitarist [ STEEL PICKER, that is ]; first time for that melody, also. And the sound of the ZUM helps the intonation of the instrument; we love it, Bill; keep them coming. I know every one surely loved that solo by the great & late Jeff Newman. Many thanks to you & Fran, so very much..Bernie _________________ 2007 Zum S-10; 1967 Sho-Bud [ D-10 ]; 85 S-10 Sierra; 1953 Multi-Kord [ 6 String- 4 pedals ] A Sho-Bro six String Resonator Guitar; Nashville 112 Amp; hilton Vol. Pedal |

I've been playing and listening to steel players for more years than I care to remember. I have never heard anyone put more feeling into a song than Robbie did this one. He is truely a credit to the steel guitar world.
