I wonder what are your favorite settings with the Fex series; are you using settings from Jeff Newman, have you created new ones best fitting your style of playing? And finally does anybody have emulated the sound of famous players out of those already present on the Newman settings?

Hi Frederic ,
the best sound i got on a profex was to have reverb and delay before the 3band EQ, The EQ settings,BASS+43, MID OFF, Shift 750,HIGH + 3 ..i get a more rounded sound, the way to tell you got a good sound is play the guitar open string and then with the bar you should have the same tone , if you follow what i'm saying..

I have a listing of the Transtube Fex/Tubefex programs that I developed and used when I had a Transtube Fex. www.gulfcoaststeelguitar.com

The Profex II programs do not fully utilize the Transtube Fex/Tubefex as they bypass the analog preamp - a waste of the device.

Jack your website is well know to all Fex owners.
I've tried near every patch in the list and some of them are in my favorites.
I really appreciate the work you've done right here.

BTW is there someone who have programmed a Randall Currie or a Paul Franklin program?
