Hi friends
I have just talked to Bruce and he told me that my New Zum D10 9/7 a has been shipped today - looking forward to get it. It takes some time to get to Denmark - a little more than a week before I get it.
There are just small changes on the new Zum from the one I got from Bruce in 2005. I have decided to have the PH pedal on the 1 position insted on the fourth pedal as I have now. on the new one there are a splitfront. The pickups are WTT singlecoil - but two extra humbuckers in spare.
Perhabs someone can help me to get the picture on the forum when I have some.
Great to be a menber on this forum.
If you are going to my website I have made some small soundclips - there you can hear my playing.

Turbo, very nice steel you have there. You will have many hours of good times with it. Good color also.
I am still waiting to hear from Bruce myself. I know he is a very busy man, building those great steels. Larry Petree

Great looking guitar!

Zum was one of the first professional model guitars I looked at but could never afford when I first started playing steel and 25 years later I still would like to have one.

Hi Larry
Yes those Zumsteel are a masterpiece everyone - I got the first in march 2005 and both guitars are a pleasure to sit behind. I got spareparts to the Zum from 2005 - to change the PF pedal from the 4th pedal to the 1st position. It's an easy operation because the A pedal are on the second position.
It's worth waiting Larry. Hope to se a picture when you get your Zum. Laughing

Hope that you will be the lucky owner of a Zumsteel one day. It's so great to sit behind those guitars and play them - Hope that you enjoy to sit behind the steel you have at the moment - just to have one is a pleasure. I was a lucky mand when I got my first steel 16/1-1976 - so it is Very Happy
