If it were me, I would have Jason Lollar do the repairs. He is into Fender pick-ups, and has those type for builders, including the blend pot etc. for those who want to use them in new builds, or replacement.

Jason Lollar rewound a pickup for my Fender T-8 Stringmaster and it sounds great. Vintage pickups are one of his specialties.

First make sure they are dead and it's not a wiring issue. Laughing

Yeah, like Gary sez, make sure you measure the pick up winding right at the bobbin, not somewhere else in the wiring.
I almost gave up on one because it was hard to get a reading with it in the guitar.
The bobbin on a Custom is very simple, with the whole winding and leads out in the open.

I've had several pickups rewound by Jerry Wallace at TruTone, even some trap. pickups. A great guy! Very Happy
