I have one of these in my basement, a leftover of a short period when I was yet another old crock playing the Rock'n'Roll of my youth. I have now resigned myself to the fact that the R'n'R train has left the station without me either on board, or in the same time zone.

I have a new pedal steel "in the mail" and a closet full of nonpedals already accounted for. Anybody had any luck getting a tone they liked out of one of these amps for those applications? Suggestions for starting a decent clean patch?

Guidance much appreciated.

I did a session a couple of years ago where I used the studio's Cyber Twin and was pretty pleased with its performance. I inquired and got some suggestions from the forum in advance but I remember nothing. You might search the old forum: HERE
I'm pretty sure my approach was to head straight for blackface twin settings and I really spent very little time messing around with it--I got a good usable sound pretty quickly. I don't know how well one of these would deliver on the bandstand but in the studio it did a nice job. Back in my old reefer days I might have gotten sidetracked watching the motorized dials turn but alas, I grew up. Ah, the good old days.
