My hilton volume pedal all of a sudden started making noise that increases as the pedal is depressed. It's a scratchy kind of interference type of sound. I opened it up and saw nothing visibly wrong but did notice the the light diodes are not lit even though I checked power and it is receving power. I'm not sure whether the lights should be visible or not. The tape is intact bewteen the light sensors. Any ideas guys? |

The light is not visible because it is infrared light. It is hard to diagnose the problem without a hands-on inspection. Make sure that your cables are good and remove all devices in the chain except the pedal and amp or see if your equipment works okay with only the pedal removed from the chain.
If the problem is in the pedal, you should contact Keith Hilton. He will have you back in business very quickly. _________________ www.home.earthlink.net/~johnd37

It's definetly the pedal, everything works with another pedal in line, and the power supply is good too. I guess I'll have to send back but from what it looks like here and the phone calls I've made, it's hard to get a hold of Keith. |

I need to check the pedal out. Send it to me at: Keith Hilton 248 Laurel Road Ozark, Missouri 65721. I'm home all the time if you call my home number 417-581-4158. My two shop buildings are behind my home and there is no phone in the big building. |
