being relatively new to playing steel.......what is the most typical setup for a twin neck guitar...which tuning would be on the players side..which would be away from him .....
just curious.....what the pros use..

E9/C6... with C6 neck being closest to the player and the E9 neck in front. Is this what you are asking?

From low to high, E9 is:
B D E F# G# B E G# D# F#

C6 is:

Yes the c6th is close and the e9th is farther away. Go to different websites, Carter is a good one, and look up most requested tuning's they are right on the money.
