zb 11

hey i was flicking through an old zb catolog the other day and noticed a ZB custom 11 - i used to have a ZB custom D10 but the double neck sent a painful cramp up my hand (as im 6'4). so i got a single and the cramp went

then i saw a ZB custom S11 -

any people here own one of them?

they look great - and although my bar hand always hurt when playing a D10 the tone of my ZB was outta this world.

Hi Spencer,

Yes, there are a few S-11 ZBs around but many are SD-11. Bobbe just sold an SD-11 at Steel Guitar Nashville. I have a ZB D11/10 that sounds great. Visit the ZB thread and the last page has a few pictures.

By the way I took my son to see the Deadstring Brothers last summer in Cleveland. You sounded real good.

im hoping the deadstrings will be getting back on the road in the u.s late april into mid may - be cool to see you at a show..

so im guessing ZB S11 are like finding a needle in a hay stack.

Yes!

Not easy to find but when one does they keep it.

I hear Al Perkins has a ZB 11 in England for his trips over.

I'll try to look you up when you are in the area.
