Vista, HELP !!

Wiz,
I have a real problem with windows vista. While in the steel guitar chatroom, I cannot play music in the room without it coming over the mic.. The chatroom uses the Ivocalize software and the new vista system is so complicated to operate. I can’t find any options to play sounds from any device other than the mic. If you need any more information, I will try to provide it. I have exhausted the Microsoft sites with no results. Any help you can offer will be much appreciated.
