Dear Forum friends,

I would just like to pass along the good word about a brother steel player who is providing a great service to our community. I have no motive to this post other than to share a positve experience, and a square deal. I just received a custom made bar from Jim Burden at Bulletbars (www.bulletbars.com). It is custom sized to my particular specs, and made to order for me. It's high quality hard chrome (not show chrome) over stainless, with some very nice design features: check out the cool retro heel end indent, for bar slant control, and the smooth "easing" on the bottom edge. Jim does a a microscopic taper to the bar which gives it a uniquely "hand friendly" feel, while still providing outstanding string contact. It also reduces chatter and drag when moving across the strings. The hard chrome is sticky in the hand for control, yet quite slick on the strings. Clear highs and punchy thick bass notes and all the sustain a great bar should have. I really like this product. The turn around time from custom order to having it in my hot little hands was a matter of days. Check it out if you are looking for something special. Regards and best wishes to all...JW

I've tried this bar and it is a very good product. Price wise - reasonable.

I also have one and I'm considering getting a second as a backup. These bars are the best!

Well I spent a lot of time playing the new bar yesterday. I like it so much, I ordered a few spares.
