Question for Mike Brown

I purchased a Peavey Rhythm Master 400 in the late 80's because I wanted an amp with 4 Channels to be used for keyboards and pedal steel. I never really liked the sound for steel. Is there some kind of mod that would make it better for pedal steel? It has a Black Widow and is 250 watts. Thanks so much for your response to all our questions. David
