Looking for another stage guitar... I love those #59 painted steel body ricks- sound good, indestructable. I need another for a different tuning. Does not need to be 1005 original or mint condition. In fact, id prefer a well used one with a good sounding pickup.

Thanks!

"the other slovak slider from pittsburgh"

I resemble that remark! Born in McKeesport and raised in Glassport. I live north of Detroit but know where I come from. Smile I have two Rick B6s as well.

Take care,

Russ, small world...

to make the slovak pittsburgh connection weirder...

I grew up in a place called "waterford, PA" oddly, you live in WATERFORD MI!

whats funnier, is my band introduced me as the "slovak steel" player saturday night, after my bass playe rsaw this post. He told the crowd, play it backwards, tuned in reverse. .....which isn't entirely untrue!

Heh, guys, do you have room for a Hungarian steel player in your club? I grew up in Port Vue, between Glassport and Mckeesport. Play a couple of Rickis in addition to pedal steel. steve takacs

Oh boy...

I have a Busha and a djza-djza.

My dad played accordian his whole life, taught it at Art Kubera's music store in Buffalo New York. He played a Magnatone 460 Vibrato. He taught me how to play it as a kid. You could say I was the "cool" kid in school. (hahaha)

At the old polish music store, they never wanted to sell you a guitar. They pushed accordians on all the kids and told them (in polish accent) "you no want guitar, you want accordian, the instrument of love"

My folks both went ot college in Erie, Pa at Alliance college. I think you had to be polish to go there. The school is long gone, (much to my mothers' dismay) it is now a womens' penitentiary!

hahahahaha!
