Hello Guys and Galls,

Just wondering. We all are big lovers of the steel guitar and all that goes with it.Whether it's used for country or for other kinds of music.
What is it that makes our hearts beat faster when there is a song with a steel in it?Why do we focus our hearing on a song with a steel guitar in it?

We like to talk about all the facets. All the techniques. What it takes to build a steel guitar. The mechanics....you name it...it all can be discussed here on the steel guitar forum.
I like to thank b0b for setting this forum up and keeping it alive for so long.I speak from the heart when I say that I like to stay a member of this forum for as long as I can.

I think that all steel players like to learn as much as they can about this wonderful instrument.

Courses have been made by the most successful players. To name a few.
Paul Franklin.
Buddy Emmons.
John Hughey.
Herby Wallace.
But however.....when there is a forum or web-site being build that gives us the opportunity to even learn more about our big love(for free) most of us don't go to that forum or web-site.
Why don't we broaden our horizon more? Most web-sites are free and the people that put their time in it love to see you come and discuss all facets about our beloved instrument.
There is the Christian forum.....not many forum members know about that one. There are a couple chat rooms(ours is one of them). We can have all the info that we want. How ever we don't go there. In the chat rooms we have the chance to listen to the best music and hear people talk and play steel guitar.
So many people try to focus your attention on their efforts.
Karen,Graham and I started the first steel guitar chat room again a couple of months ago.Why don't you all drop in and say hi and talk and listen steel guitar. It is free.

And this is just one of the many opportunity's we all have,to learn more about the steel guitar and listen to the best of music. In our Steel Guitar chat room we not only play instrumentals but also play songs that contain Steel Guitar and/or Dobro.
Every Saturday we have a tribute or a special.Just hop in and be welcome.......and let us surprise you with the tribute or special.
Let's put our heads together and have fun by talking what we love the most.....Steel Guitar
