Hello,

I am just testing the waters here to see if perhaps anyone might want to do a trade plus some cash, I have a nice condition Williams D-10 400 series, that I bought new from Bill Rudolph in August of 2002. I can send pics to anyone interested. I am looking for an Emmons pushpull D-10 in rosewood, lacquer, black, any color but red, white or blue. Would prefer an earlier one, I currently play a 1969 (#1308) and would like an 8X5, set up Emmons style.

The Williams is a beautiful sounding and playing steel, natural birdseye lacquer, 8X5, original Ozite covered case, lightweight, no changed parts. I have used it on hundreds of gigs and sessions, very reliable steel. I am considering trading it only because I find it tough to go back to the Williams for ergonomic reasons, i.e. the Emmons requires about 5 times the pressure to work the pedals and knees, which I like. You can e-mail me or call if you've got anything that might fit the bill.

Best,
