Well as many of you know from a previous post a couple of months ago I bought a Jackson guitar. Well I've had it for almost 2 months now. WOW time flies when you have a great guitar. I have played a dozen gigs now and this guitar lets you get every note and phrase you want without any work. I know many players here on the forum had concerns about the lowers and how it is being done...well let me tell you it works flawlessly. I have had zero problems with this guitar. I picked up the guitar from David in Atlanta drove to Florida and played the next day and the only thing I had to do was raise the A pedal a little for my feel that was it. David you make a wonderful guitar and you and Dawn were so great to work with as well.
The number of compliments I have recieved on my sound and playing since I got this guitar is unreal but I will take them but I must say the Jackson guitar has everything to do with it. The tone and sustain are just great. I'm sure glad the David Jackson has returned to the steel world and I think his new BLACKJACK model will surely suprise a lot of people. I for one can't wait to get one as a backup guitar.

I played my buddy Charlie's new Jackson and it is one wonderful steel. David Jackson is not only a super person but he is continuing a great family tradition of building great steels. The Jackson Steel has some very unique concepts and I like them a lot. Congratulations Charlie (tell Denise to 'back away from that steel!') HA HA

great looking steel.. and very interesting design under the hood.. a little strange to see the simple looking changer on one end and the other stuff at the keyhead end.. also the wiring, lots of what looks like grounding wires. _________________ Bo Borland

Charlie,
I can't help but cry when I see this work of beauty. I live just a couple of hours from Stoney Creek. When you get back, I would love it if we could get together so I could see and hear this beauty in person. Please let me know if it would be convenient.
Regards

Roger there are two wires for the tuner and two for the pickup. One of each set of course is ground.
Bo yes they do run the grounds to the metal parts of the guitar.
