Didn't mel Tillis record this.
It sounds just like Mel.
I know another guy did, but I don't like his version of it.
I am looking for it if anyone has it I would be happy to pay for it......
The copy I have is messed up and stops during the 1st verse and is really messed up.
When I loaded it onto my computer I forgot to list the artist.
I can't find it on the web either!
I think it is Mel but I'm kinda unsure.
Senior moment I guess.
Man this would be a great track for someone to create.
Great steel parts.
Please advise.

It's on Justin Trevino's album "Travling Singing Man", too. I couldn't imagine anyone not liking Justin Trevino and Johnny Bush doing that song---loaded with steel.

I haven't heard that one yet. I bet it sounds great.
Johnny Cox is a great steel man
I heard him on Midwest Country.
I would still like the Mel version since that is how the band plays it.
Thanks

Justin's version with JB is one of my favorites...not to toot my own horn but I got to play the fiddle parts on that particular cut...it came out pretty good I guess.

Didn't Cal Smith record it also? When I read the title, I hear his voice sing it.

I think I remember Claude Gray singing this song years ago. May be thinking of someone else, not sure.
