I have an old Rivera designed Fender Concert that needs some TLC. She has been sitting for 13 years in a closet without play and sadly, in this dump we moved into several months ago, the closet wall which I had the amp against has a slight water leakage problem. Yeah! Thing is, I care for my gear almost to a fault, so you can imagine how I felt when I pulled out the amp.
I am hoping there are some good shops arouund the Valley (Central here in CA) as this amp weighs a little bit. Thanks for any help. |

Only guy in California I trust my tube amps too is Robert Stamps at the Amp Shop in Reseda (I think it's Reseda, might be Van Nuys).
Great Guy, knows his stuff.

Ron Veil, (Uncle spot) is a tube amp supreme being.
He's seen, and done it all, more times than he likes to admit.
He's one of the very best.

I do a lot of amp repairs and am quite familiar with the Concert (II?) from the 80's. If it's what I think it is, it has switchable channels, with two sets of controls. I actually worked in Fender's R&D Dept. for awhile back then. I am in Northridge (San Fernando Valley), which is about 90 minutes away from Bakersfield. A bit closer than Fresno or Modesto. _________________ Michael Brebes
