Doc Spangler

This is a long shot, but does anyone remember a steel player named Doc Spanger? All I know is that by the early 70's he had retired from Nashville to a farm in Ohio. We used to play the occasional weekend gig together, and Doc was quite a steel player, and quite the gentleman.
