I will be co hosting the Music City USA radio show on Vanderbilt's WRVU Thursday from 10 AM til 12 noon as a special guest of the shows host Cowby Antone.
I will be playing classic examples of country steel guitar music and discussing the players, their personal history and techniques (this is on topic).
Jerry Byrd, Bud Isaacs, Jimmy Day and others will not only be played on the air (a rare occurance these days), but they will be spotlighted as the featured musicians on the recordings (Slowly, I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry, Together Again, etc.).
91.1 FM in the nashville area. |

Chris,
Great show - caught it in it’s entirety. Man, those tracks sound GOOD. Thanks for pulling out the vintage material and sharing insights and info.
Hopefully Cowboy will post the play list on the station archives. |

Chris is a hero now, but he's only 21 and has the brightest future in the steel business! He has my admiration, as do many of you!
I just have a great feeling about this guys future. I said the same thing about Tommy White in 1979, (guess I was wrong! Ha! Ha!) I love to see great success when it is deserved!
