If you have seen Tim's name come up a lot latly on the forum it's because dude deserves mad props! The guy is criss crossing the country every few days playing pedal steel guitar with one of the hardest working bands on the road nowadays. I for one am happy for Tim's success and hope the road traveled for him is smooth and long. God forbid b0b bans me from the forum for saying it but Tim is also I mighty fine Banjer picker!

Tim, thanks for the chat and the chance to see the show. Great Job!

Finally, 20 years on the road with Nashville's best bands and he's getting the recognition he deserves. Thank you guys for saying these things, I can't remember when Tim didn't play well. And the part about him being a great guy is more than true. But you all knew how I felt about that,

Well Jim, while you were watching Tim live, I was watching him on CMT. WOW! He was featured quite a bit by that camera and for good reason.

I was surprised when the band cut into Folsom Prison and Dierks called out the steel guitar, walked over to Tim, and for about 30 seconds Tim tore it up!

And then on What Was I Thinkin', Tim and his Dobro were covered. I really like how the camera was able to capture the guitar player and Tim at the same time so you could really see those two going at it.

Once again, Tim Sergent is one of a kind and one of the best.

I hope the road is good to ya Tim and thanks for all the great music. Tell Dierks we all think he's got it right.

Yep the show is well worth seeing. I can't add anything more that hasn't already been said about Tim's playing. Just a great musician all around. You have a great job working with a great man. I love it because he gives recognition to the band. Not all artists do that. Jim it looks like you had a much better seat than I did when they were in Little Rock last week. I'll be a little more prepared next time though. Tim I still have your number and when you guys get close again I'll holler and we'll hook up this time. Until then keep your G# !! Laughing

Tim is not only one of the finest players I have had the honor of being around, but Tim is one the nicest guys you will ever meet.
If you get a chance to see Dierk's show(which I haven't yet, but I plan to as soon as they are in the area)and you do get a chance to talk to Tim be sure and pass along a great big Hello from one of his fans,
Terry Bethel

WOW!!! You all are WAY too kind!!! Embarassed Thanks for all the kind words. They sure do mean a lot. It's nice to know that people have an interest in what we're doing out on the road. To take the time and spend the money to come out to a show really means a lot. It's not always the easiest thing to do....as Robert found out....but look me up if you make it out to a show.

Thanks again,

Tim

Hey Tim, it's great to know you're playing steel with one of my favorite artists, Dierks Bentley. I love every song Dierks has recorded so far and every song on his cds, and I'm glad he loves the steel guitar. Tim, you're an awesome steel player and I hope y'all come to SC soon.
