It's the only cover tune we perform so we recorded it first for practice as we are trying to learn the ropes of studio engineering. We'll probably use it as a "bonus" track or b-side.

We just recorded it "live" and went back later and re-recorded the vocals and percussion tracks. That's me on steel. The timing is off in places but the guys wouldn't let me have another take.

It's "I'm Only Sleeping" off the Beatles' Revolver LP. Rearranged with tabla, steel and missing or changed lyrics. While I'm not really hot on my playing in this one, I do like the licks I wrote as they are nothing like the original recording. It probably helped that I had never heard this song as played by the Beatles until a couple of days ago.

very nice recording. I do like versions very much, but this arrangement does not work for me. too bouncy and upbeat for my take on that song.
you guys are a talented bunch.I like the world music instruments you all can play.
