I am enamoured with your tone on Ryan Adam's Cold Roses album, particular during the beautiful solo on the cut 'If I Am A Stranger', and of course 'Let It Ride'. Can you give us an idea how you achieved your sound? Was it T8 straight into the Steel King? Any outboard reverb, etc.? Thanks so much.

Hi Ryan:

I used a Phoenix 6 string custom lap steel ( no longer made) on "If I Am A Stranger" in G tuning. "Let It Ride" was on a D-8 1955 Fender (C6th tuning) Stringmaster...only outboard effect on those cuts was an old Boss Analog Delay pedal. Thanks for your input on these! Cindy
