What year would this guitar be from. I have seen several old MSA guitars advertised recently. Looks like some manner of pull release system. |

Some parts look like the '60s model MSA guitar, while others look like they're from (several) other brands. If I had to guess, I'd say it's someone's "rebuild", using whatever parts they could find. At any rate, it indeed looks to be a single-finger design...not one I'd recommend. |

All the first ('1963-4) MSAs were "single finger design" and some used cable pull. They played great and seriously sounded incredible. This is circa 1963 and were built by us original MSA guys. I can't seem to pull this up out from the ebay site but if someone will email me a picture of it, I'll give my guestimation.

I just got a picture of the guitar, it is NOT an MSA, nor is any part of it. Looks like a Marlin, but more likley a total home made steel, not bad looking, but NOT AN MSA! Possibly it's a Capri,
