Micro Phonic Pickup

I play a D10 (okay pick at) Fender. I don't know the year. Anyway, I was reading on the forum somewhere about microphonic pickups. I find it interesting that the E9 pickup is microphonic while the C6 isn't They should be of the same age. I've had it about 24 years. I tap the case lightly with my fingers and hear it, but it isn't reproducing voice. I don't see it causing any problems, just found the difference between the two pickups interesting
