first days of January I (tempt to) climb "in solitaria" approaching Monte Antelao peak, in Dolomiti mountains, and when achieved "forcella grande" I started fight with my crampons in the "iced" or unpredictable falling-in traitor snow, in a sort of wind storm with a complete serene blue sky..., reminding me that Nature (especially mountains) is like the "zone" Andreij Tarkovski described in "Stalker"; I mean that She seem to come in some brain-synch with your mind ... trenasorming itself in something different for every (human) being ... in that moment, when frozen and sweating at the same time, alone and unified at the same time, I probably thought at a sort of adrift that "white sea" inspired ... (the adrift feeling come up especially on slippery down slope ...)

piece for FREE download available at my home page: http://solyaris.altervista.org

It's a very rough mix (almost 55 min., so almost 51 MB).

enjoy

That is a put on the headphones, close your eyes and lay back environment. Quite interesting and new to me. It says, Relax Bubba, go for a few moments of peace.

hi Ken, you got the sense Smile

btw, all sounds made here come from a classical guitar and a lap steel guitar delay processing; the tecnique is the same I used in my last CDR "Ascension and Revelation" see: http://solyaris.altervista.org/ascension.htm

BTW, masters of steel guitar e-bow processing are especially great artists: Robert Rich ( http://www.robertrich.com ) and Stars Of The Lid (Brain McCarty and Adam Wiltzie); these last ones especially realize beatiful ambient music that most define "electronic music" but where the seed wawes are generated with a cheap lap steel.
