Wiz, are you aware of any compatibility issues with the free AVG 7.5.1 and Windows VIsta? I know Vista and Quick Books Pro are not digesting well....

Gary;
I cannot get the AVG resident realtime scanner to load on Vista RC1. I don't have the gold release so I don't know if this has been resolved officially, yet. I do know that Grisoft is in continuing talks with Microsoft engineers about interoperability issues.

FWI: Pretty much all of the security vendors are having problems getting their products to work seamlessly on Vista computers. This is directly related to the Microsoft PatchGuard system that protects the kernel against any interference from any programs. I am not quite up to date on this debate, but when I get more information about agreements between security vendors and the Vista team, I'll post it here, or on my blog.
