Doing some Saturday Ramblin' today and remembered
this old tune by Jerry Byrd. Trying to learn this really
makes one appreciate the talent of the maestro himself.

I am using a Gibson Consolette with C6th on top and Leon
MacAuliffe E13th on the back neck.

The song finishes with some rag fingerstyle on the E13th.

Thanks for the posting Roy. I wish more forumites would post their music. It is one of the highlights of this forum, in my opinion. This piece has a beautiful touch, as usual. Was the accompaniment a single 6 string flat-top? Do you play the accompaniment also? Do you still have a web page?

Roy that tune sounds mighty sweet on that Consolette. Do you use a G or E on top of your C6 tuning?

Many thanks to all.

John, I used my Country Gentleman for the back up and
yes...I try to play it. Smile

Andy... My first string is "E" and it is straight C6th with the
low "C".

I like being able to grab the G on top but sometimes it sounds just a tad thin to me. I'm thinkin of restringing one of my 8 stringers with the E like you use but with a G on the bottom
