Please excuse my naivety, but is there a meaning to the term "glory hole" that I don't know about?

Glory Hole. You may choose the definition you find most appropriate.

I believe the common Western usage of a mine shaft (leading to treasures) is the appropriate one here.

THANKS A MIL, Ron.

Some of my fondest memories of childhood is listening to the old hollywood cowboys singing in their old films, especially with guitar. Roy Rogers and Gene Autry were my heroes. I even got to live in Gene's old mansion (long-ago sold by Gene by then) just west of Fort Worth when I returned from vietnam; But that's a different, notorious and very colorful "FTA" story .....

Aloha,
DT~

Great site Ron ! I'm salivating over the "Dragnet" shows & that shot of Adolf Hilter lettin' down his guard with some Hilter Youth is a hoot !
O.K. ... seriously... have you heard any of these Hollywood Barn Dance shows or are you speculating that Murph is with the Plainsmen on these shows ?

It's a fact Dave, Murph AND George Bamby (on accordian) are members of The Plainsmen and on these shows.

These are a true blast from the past, as these astounding musicians were allowed to cut loose on this program, and sure did.
