Dottie Jack will be at the Dallas Show with her new CD "Texan In A Stetson". She will be singing on my set with her sister Joni Jack on harmony. This CD is one of the best out there. Produced by Bobby Flores. Lots of fiddle and STEEL GUITAR. Bobby Flores and Jade Jack on fiddle and Ralph Mooney, Lynn Owsley, and Randy Reindard on steel guitar. Joni Jack and Bobby Flores on harmony vocals. This CD is a must for country music and steel guitar fans. Jody.

Dottie: Good news-glad to hear you are performing this year at the DALLAS SHOW! Good for y0u!!! Jody - you get to play behind a lovely woman, and I might add, a LOVELY PERSON! Dottie's CD is absolutely great, she is also a professional performer, and not only that, she SINGS!!!! Do I sound like a fan???-You bet! Dottie-do you need another pair of "Uglies"? Let me know, soon, so Mama (my loveley wife Eve), can whip you up a pair or two. (Mama always knits me a bunch of "Uglies" for al my Girl Friends at these shows, so she makes some extras, and if you accept a pair, you become an official "Dino's" Girl Friend! Dottie-tell Lynn "Hey", and I hope to see you in Dallas.

I have a lot of Cd's that I love, lately Dottie's seems to be the one I play the most often. Good singer, very pretty, and a very nice person. I hope she has much success with her music.

Don't forget Dottie's CD release party at Pearls in FT. Worth on Feb, 23rd. Most of the session pickers will be on the show with Dottie. Jody.

Dottie,
Your CD is one of my new favorites, too! You will SHINE at the show in Dallas this year...your fellow Texans have good reason to be so proud, and look what a fan base you're gaining around the country! (But, beware of those who come bearing "gifts"....just kidding, Dino Very Happy . Really, Dottie, it's okay to accept the "uglies". Eve makes them and they're wonderful. Just don't accept any beverages from Dino;he's never tasted water)
Keep up the great singing! Are you already looking for material for the next CD? You've only just begun. I know you're having a ball! The steel circuit is special and the music is simply the best there is; the perfect "environment" for a girl singer to "find" herself.

Much love!
Laney

Well said Laney, and Dottie is indeed a real pleasure to work with, and I always looks forward to it at every show we both happen to be performing at. I think you are both a real blessing to us steel guitar players! Talk about "steeling the show"! Laughing

Best of luck to you in Dallas!

Laney- I did taste water once, but didn't care for it! By the way let me know if you need some more "Uglies", and I'll bring you some to Dallas.

Is there a way to get the CD short of going to the show?

I have had Dotties "TEXAN IN A STETSON" CD for aout a month and haven't worn it out yet, but I'm trying. About 100 years ago (it seems) I was playing steel for Fred, her dad, in the Honky Tonks of Iowa. Little did we know the talent that would follow. Keep it up Dottie.
