Some of the rosewood push pulls have a brown background for the Emmons nameplate.
Were many guitars were made with the brown logo?
What years were they used?
Were there any other background colours used in the logo?
Cheers,
Richard |

Richard,
I'm not sure of all the years they were used, but I had a '70 S10 with a walnut mica finish, and an '81 S12 with a rosewood mica finish and they both had the plastic badge with the brown backround.
Keep on pickin'!

I have never had an Emmons that wasn't black mica, but I thought the brown Emmons logos only came in the short period post decals when Emmons attached a metal logo plate. Some painted with a black background and others with a brown. I have never seen a brown plastic logo. |

Gents, I had an 80's S10 Rosewood with a brown badge. So the badge thing would be anyones guess I would think. J.C. |

Chris,
I've owned three Emmons p/p's The '70 S10, the '81 S12 and I currently own a '77 D10. The '77 is a Birdseye maple with a clear lacquer finish. Of the three, only the D10 has the black back round on the logo. All three have plastic logo badges.
Keep on pickin'!

Both my 70 rosewood D-10 and 72 rosewood D-10 have brown emblems on them. |
