One of my goals in life, hopefully, is to one day, get back out to Ca., find out where Jay Dee is playing and get me a table close to the band.

I just listened to Chris Hillman and Herb Petersen's 'Bakersfield Bound' today, and just love Jay Dee's playing all over it, what a great CD and great player.

I've known Jay Dee for quiet a while. I got to see him with Desert Rose. They were awesome, him and John Jorginson worked great together. My wife and I were at a Vince Gill concert and Jay Dee spoted me in the audiance and brought us back stage. What a trip. I've got an old Tele that I got from Dave Kirby. Its my main guitar and I've got autographs all over the pick gaurd, Including Jay Dee's and vince Gill's.

Hi Bill. Jay Dee was so great. I cant tell you in words how great he played. We are doing a record on Bobby Durham. He is the last of a dying breed. The record we are doing is straight Bakersfield music. Jay Dee commented that this was the real stuff and how great it was to playing Bakersfield music again. Songs like Cinderella, Under your spell again, Sam's place. Great music all of us in Bakersfield and around the world love. I will post pictures and sound bytes later.

When its done I want a copy. I just released a classic CD called (FAVORITE SONGS FRIENDS AND MEMORIES) produced by Darrell McCall and myself. Its listed on hillbillyhits.com then click on merchandise...If you want to see it. I have played everything from blues to country but the old stuff is my can of worms. So carry on my friend.
